I graduated from Universidad Autonoma de Nuevo León (U.A.N.L) where I earned a Bachelor Degree in Applied Linguistics with emphasis in Translation.
I started my teaching career
in private bilingual schools: Instituto San
Roberto and
Collegio Americano Anáhuac. In 2002, I moved to Massachusetts to marry my husband.
During the following three years, I taught Intermediate and
Advanced Spanish Courses to high school students, at the
South Shore Charter Public
School, Norwell, MA.
For five years, I had the privilege of teaching Spanish at King Philip Regional District. During my 6th year, I will be teaching AP Spanish Language at KPHS.
On February 17, 2011, I had the honor and privilege to become US Citizen during a ceremony held at Boston Faneuil Hall national historic landmark.
Spanish is a challenging and important course. Throughout the school year, students will engage in activities and projects that will increase their knowledge of the Spanish-speaking culture. Attitude, hard work and dedication are key words for success.
Among many of my hobbies, I enjoy drawing, creating computer animations, traveling, cooking, jogging with my husband and watching movies .
